St Mary Magdalene – The friendless church
Where better to have your first stall than a deserted medieval village, in the grounds of a 14th century friendless church. The village is now home to a handful of farm cottages, a manor house and St Mary Magdalene. Despite the rural seclusion, the torrential rain and the debris from a recent music festival this little church still manages to attract the crowds. Tea and cake and quilt-making it was a quintessential English weekend and the auriculas were a big hit. So grateful for the opportunity, we donated several auriculas to be planted on the graves of the nobility in the churchyard. Unfortunately it appears the rabbits are also big fans! Thank you to our lovely girls for braving the weather, pouring endless cups of tea and warming our cockles with a sing song.
Tom loved his t-shirt, seems mine must have got lost in the post….
